I was installing the APR Carbonio intake in my B7 S4 last weekend (yeah, yeah, heat soak, blah blah...;-). The thing is a bee-atch to fit. I tried as I might to get all the pieces to fit for almost 5 hours, and I finally gave up. Well, I guess the forums are correct about the junk fitment for this intake. The last chance for me was for EuroTech to give it the old college try on the installation. Last Thursday, I went to them. Jose at first thought it wasn't the correct intake for the car, but he asked his mechanic to start the assembly from scratch. Within less than 20 minutes, it was fitted perfectly and working. What up?! Jose also mentioned that he'll clean the aftermarket intake once I take my car for its 75,000 mile service. Nice! Thanks again, EuroTech! This review has been forthcoming. Been lazy ;-P Anyway, I've went to this mechanic a few times now. First was an aftermarket turbo gauge for my B8 A4 install which went without a hitch. It took them about an hour, but they were willing to show me how they installed it and how the wires for it were routed. My B8 A4 was due its 15K service and since it was still under warranty, I had it done by the dealership. Unfortunately, the dealer didn't inform me that the tire rotation was not part of the service. (FYI, I used to have a Mazda 3 and a Nissan Xterra, and the regular maintenance services usually came with tire rotation so I just assumed that a luxury brand service will come with it too. Nope!) I went to EuroTech, and they did it for free! Thank you very much! I also have a B7 S4 which has an aftermarket cat-back installed by a local tuner shop in the South Bay. I've asked the tuner twice to resit or reposition the cat-back's tips so that they don't touch the valence. (FYI, the valence is made of plastic and I can just imagine hot muffler tips may eventually melt them.) The tuner said that they can't because there's no more slack in the crossbar and muffler hangers holding the exhaust. The exhaust may break if the move was done. I went to EuroTech one late afternoon, and lo and behold, they miraculously found some slack to move the tips away from the valence without harming the exhaust. BTW, the exhaust tips were kinda hanging low and further out than the stock exhaust was before and after EuroTech made the adjustments. I thought to myself that this was probably how it was made to look by the manufacturer so I let it go. Months past, and I had money to get some piggie downpipes and to cover installation. I had the piggies delivered directly to EuroTech after I called Ardy if this was ok. Once I got a call from Ardy that my piggies arrived, I went to EuroTech early in the next morning to drop off my car for the installation. I briefly talked to Jose (I think he is the owner and head mechanic of this garage), and he said he has done this type of installs before so there won't be any problem. Ok, remember how my exhaust tips were hanging low and out? For some miracle again when EuroTech was installing my piggies, they had the time to properly position the exhaust in its optimum place. This meant the tips are now where the stock exhaust tips were located and hanged before. Not only does my exhaust sound better with the piggies, but it looks great now from its current position! Almost forgot...45K miles had past for my S4, and I had the 45K service done by EuroTech. During the service, the mechanic saw an oil gasket leak. I ok'd the fix, and I was done in no time. Definitely fast service and fair labor price (labor price compared to dealerships and local tuner shops in the area). BTW, their waiting room is clean and tidy. It has a nice big sofa where you can watch some TV (OTA channels only, and I've got to ask Ardy the next time if they offer wireless Internet access ;-). Their garage bays are also clean and organized. You always feel coming in that you are coming into a top notch mechanic's garage instead of a junk yard. Jose, Ardy, and the gang really took care of me. I'll be coming back here again especially now I know for sure that even if this is a mechanic's garage first and foremost, but they can do aftermarket tuner performance parts installations too (and proper like :-).

I am very satisfied with Jose's service. He is extremely knowlegdeable with particulary the Audi A4, and all years and types. Since I am an A4 owner, I would trust his knowledge as to any and "ALL" obstacles for this car. I was surely surprised with his precise information, driving standards, cosmetic repair tactics, internal turbo functionadvise, etc... He has done a terrific job, and again if you have an Audi, take it to Euro Tech on the Westside! Don't go to the dealer, he is actually better than them! I recently had an aftermarket exhaust installed on my B8 S4 at another shop, and much like Wruce B., I also experienced uneven exhaust tips which were much too close to the rear valence (I wonder if it's the same South Bay shop?!). The guys at Euro Tech Motors quickly went to work, and within 15 minutes, had repositioned the mufflers with the proper clearance. The mechanic even asked me to take a look at the car before they brought it down from the lift to ensure that I was happy with the fitment. The other shop never bothered to do this... I went to Artie to finalize any paperwork and asked what I owed. To my surprise, Artie stated that it would be free-of-charge! A big "thumbs up" for Jose, Artie, and the Euro Tech Motors team. I will definitely be back for any aftermarket parts installation/servicing needs!

I had a buzzing sound coming from the back of my car and it just didn't feel like it was running right. I didn't think it was much so I let it go for a few days. Finally I took my car in to Euro Tech. Jose diagnosed the problem as a broken rear wheel bearing and told me that I was lucky the problem hadn't gotten worse since I was driving around on it. The bearing was replaced the same day and my car felt so much more crisp when I got on the throttle. Thanks Jose! As so many have already said, Euro Tech is THE place to take your Porsche, Audi, or VW. The owner Jose is an excellent technician and a great person on top of that. When explaining maintenance or repairs he is very transparent and is happy to show you exactly what he's talking about. I've trusted my last car and current car to Jose for years now and don't go anywhere else unless I need specialty work. Thank you Jose and Artie for giving me piece of mind and honest prices.

I ordered lowering springs for my new Porsche. I called Euro Tech the afternoon they came in, and they told me I could bring the car in the next morning. They offered to give me a ride to work, but I already had someone meeting me there. I picked it up in the afternoon and was very pleased. They did a great job and were very friendly and happy to answer all my questions. I called a lot of shops around before coming here, and I made the right choice! Great to find a place that is knowledgeable and doesn't have to have a receptionist talk to their mechanics and call you back.

I actually stopped by Euro Tech a few months back after I purchased a preowned Boxster. I noticed the check engine light on, and Arty (referenced often in these posts) told me to bring it in. Jose (the main technician I think) took a look at the car and told me what he thought could be the problem even though the computer wasn't formally registering that I had a faulty purge valve. Jose reset the dash, and politely sent me along my way with no charge. Of course if it came on again, he could definitely confirm that it is in fact the purge valve. I was very happy to have spoken directly with the mechanic that looked at my car. Sure enough, last week I received the dreaded check engine light again, and on top of that I noticed a squawking sound every time I started the car for about 2 weeks or so. I called Arty, who promptly told me to bring it in. No appointment needed. Again Jose took a look at the car, and came back in within 10 minutes of me pulling up, and gave Arty the bad news. I was sitting right there on the couch, so I'm not sure why they didn't talk to me directly, but whatever, I was checking my blackberry. I was happy for the fast diagnosis. Verdict: faulty purge valve as originally suggested and I needed a brand new starter. Bummer. I agreed to the charges, which seemed reasonable given what I needed to have fix. Still it was hard to part with $1000 around the holidays, but like some other reviewers have stated...you know what you're getting into if you decide to buy a luxury vehicle. Labor is $100/hour, which is standard. Overall, Arty was a pleasure to work with...very clear, helpful, professional, and charming. The only thing that I didn't respond well to was his use of the word "about." So I think I just have to be more aggressive in pushing for firm figures. A nice associate named Johnny gave me a ride to and from the shop, which was helpful, and I'm sure I talked his ear off, but he was friendly. I felt like my car was in really good hands, and the next week when I needed a new gas cap...I happily called in, and Arty remembered who I was. He got me all set up within 10 minutes. I might test out another European auto shop on Yelp just to be sure that I'm with the right guys...but after one major repair, I'm really pleased with the overall experience.
